Be a Volunteer

Do you have a few extra hours on your hands? Are you looking for a way to give back to the community? Do you enjoy meeting new people and sharing your talents?

If so, why not volunteer at Kings Landing Historical Settlement!
Kings Landing has an active volunteer program boasting more than 30 volunteers every year who contribute more than 2500 hours of time and talent to our village each season.

That’s a lot of living and a lot of experience!
As a not-for-profit organization, Kings Landing relies on its volunteers to help present our beautiful village to visitors from around the world. The combination of committed volunteers and employees is one of the reasons Kings Landing Historical Settlement is recognized as one of the premier living history museums in the world.

Whether you are retired and looking for a way to share a lifetime of knowledge and skills, a stay-at-home parent looking for an opportunity to get out of the house for a few hours each week and meet new people, or a teenager hoping to gain valuable new skills or develop existing ones, we have a place for you!

Kings Landing offers a number of different venues where volunteers can offer their time and talents, from interpreting the village in costume to greeting visitors upon arrival with our visitor services team to important behind the scenes work with our artifact collection. With a wide variety of opportunities and time commitments available, we will work with you to accommodate your desires.
