National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It is a day to reflect on the impact of the Residential School system, remember those who did not return, and honour the survivors.

Admissions staff will be wearing orange T-shirts with a design by Wolastoqey artist Naomi Millier of Bilijk (Kingsclear First Nation), with all proceeds from our purchase being donated to Indigenous organizations. Visitors to our Welcome Centre will notice a donation collection box and are invited to contribute donations towards these organizations.
