Thanksgiving Weekend

October 8 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

It’s the last weekend of the season at Kings Landing and we’re celebrating and giving thanks for a bountiful harvest! We’ve got a fun-filled weekend including our Annual Auction.

Thanksgiving dinners are sold out!

Saturday, October 8:

  • Benevolent Women’s Society meeting at 11am at the Perley House
  • Children’s games outside the Morehouse Farm from 12:30pm – 1pm
  • Annual Auction: 10am – 3pm at the Learning Centre
  • Samples from Greystone Brewing at the Welcome Centre
  • Barber demonstrations at the Donaldson House from the Royal Barbershop
  • Ducks Unlimited display at the Welcome Centre
  • Music from The Cottagers
    • A good old fashioned family band, the Cottagers hail from Maxville, the Celtic Heartland of Ontario. Mom, Kim Little, is an accomplished singer as well as the director of the esteemed Glengarry Girls Choir. Victoria St. Denis is pianist for one of the oldest Presbyterian congregations in Ontario, St. Columba of Kirkhill. Throughout the years, Eric and Isaac Little have enjoyed playing, not only with their family, but also with various other local bands. Using a combination of modern and traditional instruments the Little Family perform old time Scottish and Canadian favourites.

Sunday, October 9 (Final day of the regular season):

  • Children’s games outside the Morehouse Farm from 2pm-3pm
  • Parlour Games at the Hagerman at 11am
  • Talent Show at the Theatre!
  • Music from Frantically Atlantic at the Theatre
  • Samples from Greystone Brewing at the Welcome Centre
  • Barber demonstrations at the Donaldson House from the Royal Barbershop
  • Music from The Cottagers
