Weather Weekend

July 27 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

People from the 19th century and today have at least one thing in common – we love to talk about the weather! The Village has some excellent storytellers, too. Come and hear some strange stories about wild weather occurrences from the past. Villagers will also talk about preparing for coming weather events, and the impact weather has on transportation, farming practices and their daily life.

Visit the following locations to hear villagers reminisce about weird weather occurrences:

12:30 – 1:30 at the Joslin Farm
1:00 – 2:00 at the Sawmill
1:30 – 2:30 at the Blacksmith Shop
2:00 – 3:00 at the Long House
2:30 – 3:30 at the Grant Store
3:00 – 4:00 at the Morehouse Farm
