For generations, Visting Cousins camp brought kids to Kings Landing to learn the skills, stories, and songs of rural New Brunswick life. This September, we’re opening the gates for a reunion. A full day to reconnect with old friends, revist the places that shaped your summers, and pass those memories on to the next generation.

Why This Day Matters
Every ticket helps fund the future of Kings Landing. Proceeds from this event go directly to the Kings Landing Foundation, supporting Learning Centre upgrades and the Visiting Cousins Bursary Program, helping today’s kids have the same experience that shaped yours.

What’s Included
General Admission gets you into the site for the day: self-guided exploration, pop-up exhibits, the memory wall and slideshow at the Learning Centre, and the guest book where you can leave your own story behind.
Reunion Bracelet (add-on) unlocks the full reunion experience:
- Picnic lunch on the lawn; lemonade, strawberry shortcake, and lawn games
- Hands-on heritage workshops: spinning, quilting, or traditional woodcarving
- Canapé hour with soft drinks, cordial, and a cash bar
- Wagon rides (weather permitting)

Spend an afternoon learning the skills that generations of Visting Cousins campers once did, guided by our costumed characters.
Spinning – At the Learning Centre
Before yarn came from a store, it came from a sheep. Try both the drop spindle and the spinning wheel, and discover the patience behind of rual New Brunswick’s most essential trades. You’ll leave with a small skein of yarn you spun youself.
Quilting – At the Slipp House Parlour
Learn hand-sewn patchwork from the very first square, then add your name to a community autograph quilt – a lasting record of everyone who came home for the reunion.
Woodcarving – at the Gorman Carpenter Shop
Work with heritage tools and techniques to carve your own wooden whistle from start to finish, guided by skilled carpentry interpreters.
