Plan Your Visit

Kings Landing is open June 6 to October 12, 2026, daily from 10am to 5pm.

Visitors

What to expect: Step back in time to explore rural New Brunswick in the 1800s. Meet costumed interpreters bringing history to life, watch craft demonstrations, visit farm animals, and discover stories of the people who built this province. Horse and wagon rides run throughout the day (weather and horses permitting). Allow at least 3-4 hours to explore the village.

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, sun protection, and weather-appropriate clothing. The village is outdoors with unpaved paths. Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available at the Welcome Centre on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dining & shopping: Enjoy heritage-inspired meals at the Kings Head Inn (reservations required for groups of 15+) and browse locally made gifts at the Peddler’s Market.

Admission & passes: See our Hours & Prices page for current rates. Planning multiple visits? Season passes offer the best value and include special events like Maple and Christmas Village Aglow.

A note about your 2026 visit:

This summer, we’re renewing 50-year-old water, sewer, and electrical systems – essential work that ensures Kings Landing continues welcoming visitors for generations to come. During June and July, only the west side of the village will be open. Costumed interpreters, craft demonstrations, new seasonal activities and displays, and hands-on heritage experiences like blacksmithing and printing continue throughout.

Admission pricing is reduced during the construction period. Full village access resumes in August, supported by brand new infrastructure.

Here’s what this means:
