Military Muster
Meet the living history groups who bring the soldier’s life back to Kings Landing – Friday September 26th, Saturday September 27th, and Sunday September 28th.
Some weekends call for muskets and marching orders.
On the weekend of September 26th to the 28th, Kings Landing turns its attention to military history, welcoming re-enactor groups from across the region to encamp within the village and share their interpretation of American, British, and New Brunswick military history. This family-friendly weekend brings the sounds of drill and muster to the village, with musket demonstrations, medical displays, recruitment trials, and stories of local military companies throughout. And if you’re a teacher, this year’s FREE Education Day for your students is Friday September 25th which includes military demonstrations along with the everyday magic of Kings Landing.
Come for an hour or stay for the day. Events run throughout the weekend and welcome all ages, so follow the drums and gun fire, and let our Military Muster call you to arms.
