Family Day Walk

Bundle up and join us for a FREE winter adventure at Kings Landing! On Monday, February 16th from 10am to 3pm, our trails will be plowed and ready for families to explore the historic village in its winter beauty.

While our heritage buildings stay closed for the season, there’s still plenty to see and photograph as you wander through the site. It’s a wonderful chance to experience Kings Landing in a whole new way – and to support our community at the same time.

What to Know:

Admission: Free! No tickets required.

Food Bank Drive: We’re collecting non-perishable food items and pet food for a local food bank. Donations are welcome but not required.

Facilities: Our Welcome Centre will be open and heated with washroom facilities available.

What’s Open: Trails and outdoor areas only. Historic buildings and shops will be closed.

Food & Drink: Michael’s Catering food truck will be on-site in the Welcome Centre parking lot. Please note that the King’s Head Inn is closed for the season.

Furry Friends: Dogs and other service animals are welcome on leash. Please clean up after your pets to keep the site enjoyable for everyone.

Dress for Success: February weather can be unpredictable! Please wear warm clothing and proper winter footwear. Stay on plowed pathways and watch your footing.
