Attire: For Christmas by the Hearth, you’re invited to dress the part! To do this, please book a costume fitting with the Kings Landing Wardrobe Department at least 2 weeks before your dinner. Our seamstresses will select one of the Kings Landing costumes and alter it to your size. If you’re unable to attend a fitting in person, you can call and discuss your sizing needs with our wardrobe department. We’ll do our best to have an outfit ready for you – though fit cannot be guaranteed without a proper fitting! To arrange your costume, please contact Kelly Hill, Historical Costume & Craft Coordinator, at (506) 363-4967 or by email at kelly.hill@gnb.ca. Costumes are not mandatory.

Transportation: Each party will be escorted to their selected home by horse and wagon from the Welcome Centre to their homes, where they will dress for the event.

Facilities: Each home has been inspected and licensed in accordance with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. All homes have heat, water, and access to restrooms. The Joslin Farm has a modern restroom, along with the Hagerman house in their basement (stairs access only). Guests will need to step outside of the Gordon and Jones homes to be picked up by horse and wagon and taken to the facilities at the Welcome Centre.

Inclement weather: If inclement weather is expected on the day of your reservation, please call us at (506) 363-4950. Our voicemail will be updated with a cancellation message by 12:00 pm. If we do not cancel the dining experience, but you feel unsafe travelling, please call us at (506) 363-4950 to cancel your reservation. Cancellation fees are not charged for inclement weather.

Cancellations: Kings Landing Corporation requires a 72-hour cancellation notice for all themed dinners. If you do not provide notice within this time frame, your card will incur a 100% fee.
