Christmas at the King’s Head Inn

Since 1983, innkeepers at the King’s Head Inn have guided guests by candlelight through the snow and into the magical warmth of the Inn adorned with evergreen boughs, garlands, pomander balls, ribbons and strings of popcorn and cranberries. Join in this tradition lost to time and get in the spirit of Christmas!

Note: Due to COVID, Kings Landing is unable to rearrange or move dining tables during this event. For this reason, guests must purchase tables of 2,4,6, or 8 or private rooms (up to 15 guests) this season. Uneven numbered groups may opt to bring extra meals home as takeout.

Rooms & Tables Available:

The following private rooms are available for a maximum of 15 guests. The rate is $915 per room and includes meals for up to 15 guests, tax, and 15% gratuity.

The Victoria Room is a private room in the historic King’s Head Inn. The decor is inspired by Her Majesty Queen Victoria who reigned from  1819-1851.

The Royal Albert Room is a private room in the historic King’s Head Inn. The decor is inspired by His Royal Highness Prince Albert, the husband of HM Queen Victoria who reigned from 1819-1851.

The Dash Room is a private room in the historic King’s Head Inn. The decor is inspired by Her Majesty Queen Victoria’s love of dogs and is named after her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Dash.

The Holyoke Double Parlour- A & The Holyoke Double Parlour – B are private rooms in the historic King’s Head Inn. The rooms are connected through a set of doors that provide privacy or that may be opened if both rooms are booked by the same party. The King’s Head Inn was originally a farmhouse built by James Mitchell for Richard Holyoke. It is thought that the Holyoke family farm was originally a changing station for stagecoach horses in Kingsclear. The decor is inspired by the Inn’s original use.
