50th Anniversary Celebration

July 20 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

You’re invited to a grand occasion to mark the 50th anniversary of Kings Landing. Join us on Saturday, July 20 for a special day of reminiscing and celebrating. This day marks Kings Landing’s official opening in 1974. An opening ceremony with speeches from dignitaries will kick-off the day. Sign the guest book and walk through the anniversary exhibit in the Welcome Centre to learn about Kings Landing’s own history. Enjoy treats, music, a fireside chat, and more. Spend the day exploring our beautiful 19th-century village, meet special visitors from le Village Historique Acadien, and step outside the time period with modern activities from guest partners including Wabanaki Tree Spirit Tours, New Brunswick Black History Society, Second Nature Outdoors, and Picaroons. Let’s celebrate 50 years of bringing history to life!
