Free Admission for Indigenous Peoples
Following the Government of New Brunswick’s introduction of free park access for Indigenous Peoples, Kings Landing is extending the same welcome to our site situated in the Wolastogey Homeland.
Indigenous Peoples, regardless of where they live, receive free admission to Kings Landing with a Certificate of Indian Status card, or a letter from a Chief in New Brunswick confirming membership in that community.
This measure honours the deep connection Indigenous Peoples have with these lands and waters, and reflects the Kings Landing Corporation’s commitment to reconcilitation.
What Free Admission Covers
Free general admission covers entry to the site. The individual presenting documentation receives free entry.
Charges for activities, programs, special events, food service, and third-party services inside the village are not included.
What To Bring
Free general admission is granted to anyone who presents one of the following:
- A Certificate of Indian Status card, or
- A letter granting permission from a New Brunswick Chief for those who don’t have a Status card.
Your card or letter is personal and non-transferable. Only the person named on it may use it for free admission.
